It was a modest Week 1 for Zach Ertz, the Philadelphia Eagles’ leading receiver from a year ago. Against the Atlanta Falcons, he managed only five receptions for 48 yards with zero trips to the end zone. Prepare to hear a different story in Week 2.

The Eagles are matched up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, a team that got into a shootout with the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. Although Ryan Fitzpatrick kept the points flowing on offense, the defense got destroyed time and time again by Drew Brees.

Even if Nick Foles is still under center, the Eagles should have no trouble moving the ball through the air against the Buccaneers. However, with Alshon Jeffery out and the receiving corps thin heading into Week 2, it just makes sense for Ertz to be the top target for Philadelphia. As a result, he should be one of the most exciting tight end options among DFS players.

Ertz has the potential to go off on any given Sunday. It just so happens this is the matchup he needs to make up for an average Week 1 showing. Look for big yards and at least one touchdown from the star tight end against Tampa Bay.
