Yes, the Chargers defense was bad in Week 1. The Chiefs offense was also on fire. That’s why the Los Angeles D managed a whopping zero fantasy points. Luckily for them, a matchup with the Bills could turn their fortunes in Week 2.
Put simply, the Bills offense was an apocalyptic mess on opening weekend. They managed a measly three points, with awful performances all around. The running game couldn’t get going, putting pressure on Nathan Peterman to shoulder the workload. When that didn’t work, his replacement Allen wasn’t much better.
Either way, Buffalo will be starting an incompetent quarterback in Week 2. That’ll provide the Chargers with an ideal opportunity to get back on track. Even after Sunday’s shredding at the hands of the Chiefs, look for this talented Los Angeles defense to make life miserable yet again for the Bills coaching staff.
