Running Backs

T.J. Yeldon, Jacksonville Jaguars

The availability of Leonard Fournette is still unknown to the world, but Fournette told ESPN’s Josina Anderson he’d be good to go for Week 2 following the conclusion of the Jaguars-Giants game. No official word has been revealed, yet Yeldon is still worth an addition regardless of the availability of Fournette in Week 2.

A hamstring injury is serious business for running backs, and could lead to further problems down the road if not handled properly. Should Yeldon get the nod, his versatility in the passing game along with potential volume bodes well for fantasy owners as Jacksonville hosts New England in on Sunday.

Adrian Peterson, Washington Redskins

It appears Adrian Peterson might have finally found himself a home, at least for 2018. With rookie Derrius Guice out for the season for the Washington Redskins, Peterson shouldered 26 carries for nearly 100 yards. The waiver-wire is filled with running backs who could  take the reins, and Peterson proved he’s still capable of busting fantasy points out for your squad.

AP appears to have himself in a good system that will give him looks, and for one of the greatest half backs of our generation, that’s all you can ask. Don’t expect Peterson to transform into his prime-self, but Peterson can do a lot more good than bad in your line-up.
