18. Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans

After exciting as a rookie and then tearing his ACL, all eyes were on Deshaun Watson as he entered 2018 the leader of the Houston Texans. In this first start of the year, he looked a bit rusty. Watson completed just 50 percent of his passes and managed only 176 yards and had two turnovers.

Watson did move it 40 yards on the ground and had a nice touchdown pass in traffic to Bruce Ellington. Still, there’s a long way for him to go and he needs to start getting some wins as a starter. For all the hype around him, he’s now 3-4 as the starter in his career.

17. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles

There was nothing special about this Philly team. Nick Foles started in Week 1 for the Philadelphia Eagles and he looked rough. He finished with 19-of-34 passing for just 117 yards with no touchdowns and one pick. Somehow, they still won the game.

That’s all that matters for the Eagles as they’re just buying time waiting for Carson Wentz to return. Foles was great in his place last season, winning the Super Bowl MVP and the team surely felt they were in better hands than what they saw in Week 1. There’s no telling how much longer Foles will start, but if he continues to look like he did here, it could start to get ugly.
