5. Sean Payton

Would the New Orleans Saints seriously move on from Sean Payton after a few disappointing games if the team failed to turn things around? Most likely, no they would not. But when taking into consideration that Payton was already feeling the pressure last season before helping the Saints turn things around following a 0-2 start to become one of the top teams in the NFC, it’s safe to assume he’s feeling the heat following Week 1.

Based off the comparison of the two teams last season, New Orleans received a dream matchup last weekend with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming to town for the opener, especially since Jameis Winston out as a result of the suspension. Even putting up 40 points in the contest would make it seem like the Saints cruised to an easy victory, but 40 points doesn’t help when a team like New Orleans allows their opponent in Tampa Bay to score 48.

Whether it was just being nervous over the first game or simply the Buccaneers are just that good, the Saints better have a different approach for Week 2. If Payton and New Orleans falls again at home while being a heavy favorite to the Cleveland Browns, the pressure for the team is going to skyrocket.
