3. Dan Quinn

With all due respect to the Philadelphia Eagles, there is no reason why the Atlanta Falcons shouldn’t have been able to take down the defending champions in the season opener when looking at all of the missed opportunities to get into the end zone. Falcons fans haven’t been able to stop talking about Steve Sarkisian, and the terrible job he’s been doing as offensive coordinator for this team, but also the blame deserves to fall on the shoulders of the head coach, Dan Quinn.

Talent wise, Atlanta on paper seems to have one of the strongest teams in the NFC they seem to be stacked on both sides of the football, and one loss certainly isn’t going to hurt their chances of making another run at the Super Bowl. But unless Quinn figures out a way to fix some of these issues on offense before Sunday’s game at home against the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons could be in trouble after this weekend.

Most quarterbacks would do anything to have a receiver like Julio Jones to work with, and with the issues of struggling to find the wideout in the end zone dating back to last season, Matt Ryan needs to do whatever it takes to fix this. Otherwise, things aren’t going to get better anytime soon for Quinn and the Falcons since they can’t afford to fall far behind in what is already looking like a tough NFC South.
