Start

Dion Lewis vs Houston – The Derrick Henry hype train we were all on has yet to leave the station, as Dion Lewis came in handsomely paid for his role and stole the show. A touchdown with 75 yards on the ground to go along with five receptions for 35 yards has fantasy owners giddy, especially considering the Titans will likely lean on their running back corps after the injury to Marcus Mariota. Houston’s defense is no joke, yet Lewis’ usage should see around the same quantity of looks in week two.

Chris Thompson vs Indianapolis – Adrian Peterson’s emergence was great for fans to see, as AP notched his 100th career touchdown last week in Arizona. Peterson seems to still have some gas left in the tank, but don’t let that fool you. Thompson has the capability to assert himself as the absolute lead back, and certainly can do himself favors against a poor Colts defense after putting up 128 scrimmage yards and a score last week. Jay Gruden likes Thompson, and you should too.

Sit

Marshawn Lynch at Denver – We fell in love with Marshawn Lynch all over again after watching him carry practically the entire Rams defense into the end zone in week one, but let’s stay level-headed. Lynch sees little action in passing situations thanks to Jalen Richard, and it looks as if Jon Gruden is ready to use all three of his backs, including Doug Martin.

Factor this, his illness that may even keep him out Sunday, and a stout Broncos defense, and you have a discouraging match-up for Lynch in week two.

James White at Jacksonville – In case you couldn’t tell, I’m staying away from New England players in Week 2. White claimed second himself second in snaps seen in the staple that is the Patriots backfield, as Burkhead recorded 37 plays on the field. Jeremy Hill’s torn ACL makes room for White, yet Sony Michel might make his regular season debut. Unless Belichick finds himself in a love affair with White, his ceiling will continue to be limited.
