Minnesota Vikings: 5 Bold predictions for Week 2 vs. Packers
By Randy Gurzi
2. Anthony Barr gets a pick and a sack
Whatever anyone wants to say, this one is personal. It’s the first time that Aaron Rodgers will play against Anthony Barr since the hit that broke his collarbone a season ago — and also ended the Packers shot at the playoffs.

Barr says he’s moved on, but Rodgers clearly has not — even if he says he has. Just before the season began, Rodgers brought up the fact that Barr didn’t check on him after the hit.
"“It’s a league where you appreciate what we put our bodies through. I thought … knowing that I wouldn’t be on the ground unless it was a significant injury then maybe he’d be looking over, giving me a thumbs-up-you-OK? Or something. But it wasn’t the case. We had some words exchanged on both sides.” — Rodgers said about Barr’s hit according to Peter King from the MMQB"
Barr has said his share as well, but Rodgers attacked the linebacker’s character and it led to hate mail being sent to him. He can say all he wants it’s just another game, but Barr would love to stick it to Rodgers and the fans who sent him those letters.
On Sunday, this prediction says he does just that. On top of sacking Rodgers, look for Barr to also take a pass away from the Green Bay leader. As mentioned earlier, Rodgers is hurt in this one and the Vikings pass rush will make it hard on him — and that will include Barr getting after him.
