3. Alvin Kamara rushes for 100 yards

Last week, the Saints couldn’t get the run game going. Alvin Kamara only rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown. For the most part, the team utilized him as a receiver and it worked. He finished the game with over 100 yards receiving plus a receiving touchdown. All around, it was a weird week for the Saints but Kamara embraced his role.

Heading into Week 2, the Saints should hopefully be back on track. If they are, Kamara should return to his ball-carrying duties. He might get a few receptions but for the most part, he’ll be running. With Kamara as their lead rusher, I look for him to rush for at least 100 yards against the Browns.

Last week, the Browns had trouble stopping James Conner and he’s the Steelers backup. There’s no telling what kind of damage Kamara can do coupled with the Saints stellar O-line helping him. As long as the Saints don’t get behind, Kamara has the potential for a big game.

With Mark Ingram still out for two more weeks, Kamara has to step up. The Browns defense is tough but Kamara has some added experience. Most of their defense is young and Kamara needs to push. If he can get a few extra yards and seize opportunities when he can, there’s no reason why he won’t rush for at least 100 yards.
