The Philadelphia Eagles are heading into Tampa Bay in Week 2 looking for a second consecutive win. They’ll need big performances from key players to do so.

Week 2 of the regular season is upon us. The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a tight 18-12 victory against NFC contender Atlanta Falcons. This week they take on the surprisingly 1-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay will be without their leader, quarterback Jameis Winston. Although, that didn’t stop them from upsetting the New Orleans Saints 48-40 at the Superdome. 14-year veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 417 yards and four touchdowns in leading the Bucs to this stunning upset.

Meanwhile in Week 1, the Eagles had a hard fought battle against a Falcons team that they faced in the playoffs just last year. The 18-12 win was a grind, and at-times very sloppy. For the Eagles they probably don’t mind, as a win is a win. With all the emotion involved in unveiling their championship banner the Eagles are happy to get through their first game with a victory.

This week, their matchup with Tampa Bay won’t be as easy as many people thought when it was announced that Winston would be suspended for the first three weeks of the season. Instead, they’ll have to contend with a team that looked unstoppable offensively in Week 1.

Coupled with the fact that it will be Tampa’s home opener, the Bucs should have a lot of energy and fight to start the season 2-0. On the other side the Eagles are still looking to continue the hot streak that they left off from last season. Here are the three players to watch for the Eagles against the Bucs in Week 2.
