2019 NFL Draft: 5 Players with something to prove in college football Week 3
These 2019 NFL Draft prospects, for one reason or another, will have a chance to show something about themselves in college football Week 3.
We have arrived at the third week of the college football season, which could be critical when looking ahead to the 2019 NFL Draft. Yes, some teams are still playing the softer part of their schedule, but others face worthy competition this week.
For a number of 2019 NFL Draft prospects, this is their week to make a statement. Be it because of an intriguing player matchup or even just a high-profile game that they’ll be a part of, there is plenty to prove.
Here are five guys who need Week 3 to help boost their draft stock.
5. Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss
Anytime an offensive lineman has a chance to go against a top-rated defensive lineman or linebacker, it’s hard not to take notice. This week, potential first-round pick, Ole Miss left tackle Greg Little, gets to face an Alabama Crimson Tide team he had solid success against last year. Little needs to show he’s developed into a better pass protector, specifically regarding his feet, which look heavy at times.
There’s no one on the Alabama defense that can out-power Little, but if he struggles to keep his quarterback clean on Saturday, his stock can take a dip. As Little knows, playing against Alabama comes with its challenges. The Crimson Tide are loaded with NFL talent on both sides of the ball, but so is Ole Miss. Two of the 2019 NFL Draft’s top prospects will line up for the Rebels this week. One of them is Greg Little, while the other plays wide receiver.
More on him.
