10. Miami Dolphins: Rashan Gary, Michigan, DT

Adam Gase made sure everyone in South Beach knew who was running the Miami Dolphins last year. First, it was running back Jay Ajayi who was sent away and then it was the league leader in receptions, Jarvis Landry. While those two were traded to new homes, Mike Pouncey and Ndamukong Suh both found themselves gone via release.

While the move was said to create a new culture in the locker room, it does leave them weaker on the field. They could target either line and take whichever offensive or defensive lineman is highest on the board. In this 2019 NFL Mock Draft that would be Rashan Gary from Michigan.

Gary is another big name in a class that’s loaded with defensive line talent. At 6-5 and nearly 290 pounds, Gary is a load to try and block. He can be a factor in the run game, but what makes him special is his ability to get after the quarterback.

In his sophomore season, Gary started to show that ability off. He was credited with 58 tackles — 11.5 for a loss — and 5.5 sacks. He’s recorded another sack and 10 tackles so far in his first two games as a junior. Miami can see improvement in a hurry on the defensive side of the ball with his arrival.
