Fans will be treated to an NFC matchup between two talented teams still searching for a win entering Week 2 on Monday Night Football.

The Seattle Seahawks are heading to Soldier Field to square off against a fresh looking Chicago Bears squad on Monday Night Football in Week 2. The Seahawks and the Bears were on the losing end of competitive games during Week 1.

Russell Wilson tried to catch the Denver Broncos in a 27-24 loss, but the legendary Von Miller broke their hearts. The Bears, now armed with Khalil Mack, built a 20-0 lead against the Green Bay Packers in the first half, but were effectively sidelined while Aaron Rodgers tossed three scores in the fourth quarter to win the game, 24-23.

These matchups were competitive to the last minutes. Both the Bears and Seahawks are looking to stay above 500 in the record column. These fiercely competitive playoff contenders will perform on Monday Night Football during Week 2.

After losing Doug Baldwin for at least a few weeks, Wilson will have to rely on rookie tight end Will Dissly. His 105 receiving yards and touchdown last week proved him to be a reliable target for Wilson. Unlike his predecessor, Jimmy Graham, Dissly is known for using his 270-pound frame to block in the run game. The Seahawks drafted him in the fourth round this year. The Legion of Boom caused problems in Denver, forcing three interceptions without Richard Sherman.

The recent Bears trade for Mack shook the league up. The 5-11 Bears are no more. Mack put the hurt on Rodgers and his squad before letting up late in the game. Having a man like Mack makes the Bears a playoff contender.

Mitchell Trubisky spent the off season developing a rapport with their new No. 1 receiver Allen Robinson, but they hope to improve upon his four catches for 61 yards. Robinson is talented at bringing in contested catches. He does not demand separation from the defensive backs to find success. Keep an eye on Trey Burton, who was fairly quiet Week 1.

It’s hard to say who will come away with the victory in prime time on Monday Night. Both teams will fight and scrap for every opportunity to win.
