The Oakland Raiders head to Mile High for a Week 2 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Here are five bold predictions for the game.

The Oakland Raiders are hoping this is the week. Is this the week that head coach Jon Gruden breaks through for his first win of his second tenure with the Raiders? Last week’s matchup seemed unfair. The rebuilding Raiders opened on Monday night against the NFL’s version of a super team.

But this week should be different. The Raiders head east to take on their arch rivals. Anything can happen in a rival game and the Denver Broncos are a beatable team. Their quarterback situation is less than ideal. Their defense will have to carry them this season. This bodes well for the Raiders who have the horses to be great on offense but will need the defense to step up.

It’s that time of the week for predictions. Here are five bold predictions you can take the bank.

It’s Miller time!

This week’s marquee matchup will be the battle of the Millers. Raider’s rookie Kolton Miller will see a lot of All-Pro Von Miller.

Last week Derek Carr looked uneasy in the pocket. Who can blame him with the Los Angeles Rams front seven barreling down at him? This week Carr will see a lot more of the same. The Broncos will be bringing a daunting front seven led by pass rush nightmare Von Miller.

One can hear Carr saying now, “Help me Kolton Miller, you are my only hope!” Unless Kolton can somehow find his place in the NFL after one week, Carr will need to figure out how to play under pressure.
