The Cleveland Browns finally ran out of patience with Josh Gordon and will part ways with the talented wide receiver. Here are 5 teams that might be interested?

The issues that Josh Gordon has had since entering the NFL have been well documented. After being released from the Baylor program for failing a drug test, he transferred to Utah. Gordon had to sit out the 2011 season, due to the NCAA rules on transferring.

He had tried to enter the Supplemental Draft that season but was unable to and then entered it in 2012. The Cleveland Browns took a risk and used a second-round pick on him knowing that if he kept his nose clean, he could be an absolute stud.

At first, that’s exactly what he was. Gordon recorded 805 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie and then in 2013, he blew up. That season he led the NFL with 1,646 yards receiving and that was even with him missing two games due to suspension — the first of many for substance abuse violation.

Gordon was suspended for all of 2014 before a rule change let him back in for five games. He was then suspended in 2015 and after trying for reinstatement in 2016, he was denied for failing a test.

Gordon wasn’t back in the league until late 2017 and managed to play five games. He then disappeared before camp this season but played in the Browns opening weekend tie — scoring a huge touchdown in that game.

It would be the last one he played for Cleveland as they’ve decided to move on amid drama surrounding a recent hamstring injury. First, it was reported he would be released, but due to demand from other teams, Gordon may actually get traded. If so, these are five teams that could have interest.
