Dallas Cowboys (1-1) at Seattle Seahawks (0-1)

Sunday, September 23, 4:25 PM ET

It hasn’t been an easy start to the season for the Seattle Seahawks. They came into the year battling injuries at key positions, and are trying to break in a rebuilt defense. To say that Pete Carroll has his hands full is an understatement.

Luckily for Seattle, they still have Russell Wilson. And in my opinion, anything is possible when you have a magician like that under center. Whether he’s escaping numerous pass rushers by inches or tossing an unlikely touchdown in the final seconds of a close game, he always seems to have the right answer to the Seahawks’ problems.

Going up against the Dallas Cowboys should make accomplishing that task just a little easier. Sure, they beat the Giants on Sunday night, but they’re far from a feared opponent. The passing game is struggling to get going, and the defense is inconsistent at best. While the roster is talented, Jason Garrett can’t seem to set his team up for success.

So, as a result, the Seahawks win this one. The 12s show up in full force, making life difficult for Dak Prescott and the Dallas defense. It’ll be close, but Wilson pulls off some late-game heroics to avoid the loss at home.

Prediction: Seahawks win 16-12
