Denver Broncos (2-0) at Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

Sunday, September 23, 1 PM ET

For quite some time, I tried to convince myself that the Denver Broncos would win this one. Case Keenum has held his own as the new starter, and the defense still has plenty of playmakers. However, after careful consideration, I’ve decided that their win steak will end at two.

Why? Because the Baltimore Ravens are better than their record would indicate. Yes, they fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 and their only win was against the putrid Bills. Aside from those two things, this Ravens squad is still one worth taking seriously as we work our way through the early part of the 2018 campaign.

Joe Flacco has enjoyed a resurgence of sorts, although the drafting of Lamar Jackson probably had something to do with that. The fact that Baltimore went out and got him weapons to work with this offseason has also made a big difference. Then there’s the Ravens defense, which also deserves some serious recognition.

The way I see it unfolding is the Broncos having one final opportunity in the waning minutes. Unfortunately for Keenum and Co., a clutch sack or interception seals the deal, officially evicting them from the undefeated club.

Prediction: Ravens win 22-21
