30. New York Giants (26)

Wasn’t this supposed to be the year in which the New York Giants turned things around after only winning three games all of last season? Between the improvements of the offensive line along with Saquon Barkley and a healthy Odell Beckham Jr. taking pressure off Eli Manning under center, the Giants seemed like a strong bounce back contender.

While that may very well still end up being the case for New York since it’s only been two games, watching them lose the way they did against the Dallas Cowboys was quite a disappointment, especially since their lone touchdown came in the final minutes when the contest was over. No matter how hard they tried, the Giants just couldn’t figure out a way to get anything going on offense, but also shows just how great of a job the Cowboys did on defense.

Even if Barkley caught 14 passes, any defense that holds a star rookie like him to just 28 rushing yards on 11 carries deserves heavy praise. It may be difficult to see now after two tough losses in a row, but Barkley was clearly the right selection for New York in April, and the rookie seems like he’s only going to get better with experience.
