The Seattle Seahawks faced the Chicago Bears on Monday, Sept. 17 in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL season. Here are highlights from the game.

Week 2 of the 2018 NFL Season comes to a close with the Chicago Bears playing host to the Seattle Seahawks on ESPN’s Monday Night Football. An NFC battle between two teams looking to erase a 0-1 start.

For Seattle, they dropped a game to the Denver Broncos by a score of 27-to-24. They had taken the lead late but were unable to hold it as Denver put them away with a fourth-quarter touchdown. That game was back and forth and leaves a sour taste in the mouths of the ‘Hawks as they look for redemption.

The Bears had a worse taste in their mouths after Week 1. Aided by the arrival of defensive end Khalil Mack, the Bears defense helped them get off to a huge lead over their biggest rivals, the Green Bay Packers.

They were up 20-3 thanks in large part to Aaron Rodgers being out with an injury. Then, of course, Rodgers came back and led Green Bay to a 21-point fourth quarter for the win — capping off the Sunday Night Football opener.

Back on prime-time, the Bears have every intention of proving they’re the team we saw in the first half of that game and not the second.

Stay with us for all the highlights as the Bears clash with the Seahawks.

Highlights

Driving down the field in the first quarter, Trubisky showed off the wheels to grab a key first down.

On the same initial drive, Trubisky capped it off with a nifty little shovel pass to Trey Burton, who found his way into the end zone.

After the offensive success on that first drive, however, the Seahawks defense started giving Trubisky fits, starting with a Shaquill Griffin interception…

…and following it up with another Shaquill Griffin interception.

However, the Bears defense wasn’t letting Wilson get anything done either, much of that coming from Mack, who forced a big strip sack to effectively kill a drive.

Trubisky got the ship rolling once again, finding Anthony Miller for the score.

Wilson answered, however, as he orchestrated a drive tha ended with Tyler Lockert in the end zone on a near perfect play.

As the Seahawks tried to mount a comeback, the Chicago defense came up huge with a Prince Amukamara interception return for a touchdown.

Seattle historically has a bad offensive line and surrendered six sacks in Week 1. The Bears will be ready to unleash Khalil Mack again as he looks for another big game. Either way, it’s clear that both of these teams need a win in Week 2 to get their seasons going on the right track.
