The Miami Dolphins are off to a 2-0 start to the 2018 season. These are four reasons why they’ve been able to come out of the gates hot.

With the Miami Dolphins off to a hot start to the 2018 NFL season, we will focus on how they managed to win their first two games. It’s important fans don’t get ahead of themselves, but also don’t let doubters just write the team off as a fluke either. The Dolphins are doing a lot of things right so far.

Because most did not expect Miami to be good this season and many even believed they could be one of, if not the worst team in the league, when the team wins, it’s written off as they just beat a bad team. That clearly hasn’t been the case to this point.

In Week 1, they defeated a 2017 playoff team who went on Week 2 to beat the Houston Texans, who are widely considered a favorite to earn a playoff spot in the AFC. In Week 2, they beat the New York Jets on their field.

Granted, the Jets are not world-beaters. Nevertheless, they did manage to dominate the Detroit Lions Week 1, who are a team that has competed or made the playoffs the past few seasons in a brutal division.

With that said, they are not without their faults. However, that is not the focus here. That article will be coming very soon. Even after the Dolphins smash the lowly Raiders to go 3-0, they can’t yet be viewed as contenders. Their real challenge will come in New England in Week 4. For now though, let’s focus on what they have done, not what they are going to do.
