1. The offensive line keeps Sam Darnold clean

The Jets played a sloppy game as a whole. The offensive line was terrible in this game, and that came after a good game in Detroit where they kept Sam Darnold clean for the most part. The Dolphins generated a pass rush despite only rushing four for the most part.

The Browns have a quality pass rush unit. However, after this terrible game, the Jets will get back to the basics and keep Darnold clean for most of the game. The Browns may get into the backfield some, because with talent like there’s it’s almost impossible to keep them out, but they won’t get to Darnold at nearly the success rater the Dolphins did.

After watching the game against the Dolphins, it might be difficult to imagine the game with a clean pocket for Darnold. However, the Jets will rebound against the Browns, who will still be reeling after not being able to win their first two games.
