12. Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles (NR)

Nick Foles led the Philadelphia Eagles to 1-1 in the absence of Carson Wentz this season. Oh, and he had that little Super Bowl run too while Wentz was out. Foles is a good backup and he actually played better in their loss than their win this season, but Wentz brings so much more to the table.

He’s mobile, accurate, has a cannon for an arm and his confidence is contagious. There may be some rust early on, but his return to action next week for the Eagles is going to be huge for a team that has a fantastic roster around him.

11. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (26)

This is getting ridiculous. Yes, the wizard known as Ryan Fitzpatrick did throw a pick, but he’s thrown eight touchdowns in two games and has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in first place in the NFC South. His stat line after two games reads like a Hall of Famer with him going for 819 yards with eight touchdowns. Over 16 games that projects as 6,552 yards and 64 touchdowns.

Surely, he won’t keep up the 400-yard and four touchdown performances he’s had in two weeks, but he looks like he should be the starter even when Jameis Winston is done with his suspension — which is after their next game. This is about to get interesting.
