By Dan Parzych
What madness could transpire with two games already in the books? Here are 20 bold predictions to consider for NFL Week 3 of the 2018 season.
From the Minnesota Vikings tying the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field to the Jacksonville Jaguars getting a little revenge on the New England Patriots, Week 2 of the 2018 NFL season was filled with plenty of great surprises that some football fans never could have predicted. As for what NFL Week 3 has in store, well let’s just say football fans certainly won’t be disappointed when looking at all of games to look forward to, including a key battle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Last month, a matchup like this didn’t seem like that big of a deal since the Steelers were expected to be a top contender in the AFC while the Buccaneers would be fighting just to get by without Jameis Winston while he serves his three-game suspension. Instead, it’s actually Pittsburgh that happens to be the team struggling, as they enter Week 3 still in search of their first win.
As for Tampa Bay, well let’s just say this team has been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL over the first two weeks thanks to Ryan Fitzpatrick playing at a MVP level, which nobody predicted at all.
The fact that Fitzpatrick has led the Buccaneers to a 2-0 start along with tossing eight touchdown passes in the process shows this isn’t the same quarterback from previous years, and there could very well end up being a quarterback controversy in Tampa Bay around this time next week. Along with what to expect from Fitzpatrick, here are 20 bold predictions for football fans to consider heading into Week 3.
