Start

O.J. Howard vs Pittsburgh – Hot quarterback + tight end + Steelers defense = Fantasy palooza. We witnessed Patrick Mahomes connect with Travis Kelce for a 10/109/2 stat line last week in Pittsburgh, and unless the Steelers can improve drastically in a week, O.J. Howard should be a must-start in all formats.

With DeSean Jackson taking the top off defenses and Mike Evans commanding attention no matter his location on the field, Howard should find himself in favorable matchups with Pittsburgh linebackers, who struggle in pass coverage. Howard might not be able to see Kelce’s stat-line, but a stellar day is in-store for Howard regardless.

Trey Burton at Arizona  Burton was hand-picked by what feels like practically every expert to have a breakout year after flashing promise in Philadelphia and hooking up with new coach Matt Nagy’s offensive prowess. Through the first two weeks, Burton has only amounted five receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown.

The breakout party for Burton might feature cacti in the background as the Bears visit a dismantled, winless Cardinals team. Could this be the day Trubisky and Burton finally click? Given the current state of the Cardinals defense, it very well could be.

Sit

Will Dissly vs.  Dallas  Despite scoring in back to back weeks, I will remain loud and proud on the hill that proclaims Dissly should not be started. Aside from Seattle’s offensive struggles that you’ve read about nearly 1,000 times, Dissly has shown he is clearly touchdown or bust when Wilson isn’t absolutely clicking, something we shouldn’t expect in week three.

Dissly might be worth a look in deep leagues, yet there’s simply too much risk and not enough reward associated with Dissly to start him confidently.

David Njoku vs. New York Jets Njoku has been somewhat of a disappointment for owners. Despite a favorable volume of targets, Njoku has yet to find himself in the end zone, as he struggles with adjusting to a new quarterback and playing in an offense with Jarvis Landry as a reception machine. Njoku has yet to hit five receptions in a single game through his young career, and will have to fight against the odds to hit that benchmark against a stingy Jets defense this week.
