Fantasy Football 2018: Start or sit for Week 3
By Donnie Druin
Start
Chicago Bears at Arizona – Arizona returns home after not dropping a single point in LA, as the $20 million man in Sam Bradford has shown he’s worth pennies on the dollar at this point. The Cardinals, who’s one bright spot is young half back David Johnson, are still figuring how to give him the ball in 2018, which is a mystery in itself.
Larry Fitzgerald isn’t good enough to carry the entire receiving corps by himself anymore, and the Cardinals are currently working with a below-average offensive line at best. Chicago currently leads the league in sacks, and If that wasn’t enough to convince you to stream the Bears, please see the attached picture at the top of the page.
Dallas Cowboys at Seattle – The talk of the Cowboys continues, and by this rate, you probably assume I’ve written this in a Tony Romo jersey. It’s understandable (but certainly not the case), but that’s how much faith I have in the Cowboys in week three. Dallas quietly has one of the better defenses in the league, and should continue to improve and capitalize a mess of a Seattle team. Traveling to Seattle is always a tough task, yet the Seahawks are no longer the team they once were.
Sit
Los Angeles Chargers at Los Angeles Rams – The injury bug has not been kind to the Chargers, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Premier pass-rusher Joey Bosa is out another week due to a foot injury, further delaying the potential this Chargers defense can hit. With Todd Gurley picking up where he left off from last season and Jared Goff having weapons sprinkled across his aerial assault, Sunday might not be the day to pick the Bolts to get their swagger back.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco – Don’t let the Chiefs hot start fool you, their scoreboard-busting abilities are also a reflection of their defense as well, and not in a good way. 63 points have been allowed through two weeks with NFL sweetheart Jimmy Garoppolo visiting town. Some were hoping for a Eric Berry return this week to spark the team’s defense, but the Chiefs should be avoided if possible despite the talent in the front seven.
