NFL Week 3, 2018: 5 Teams on upset alert
By Dan Parzych
4. Miami Dolphins
As impressive as it is to see the Miami Dolphins begin the new season with a 2-0 record, this team still has a long way to go since both wins happened to come over the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets by a combined 15 points. But at the end of the day, a win is a win no matter what, and the Dolphins have to love where they currently stand after last year’s struggles.
Only time will tell when it comes to whether the magic can continue for Miami, but Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders is going to be far from easy since the team is arguably in desperation mode. When looking at all of the expectations surrounding this team during their first year under Jon Gruden again, it’s been frustrating to watch the Raiders lose each of their first two games, especially after trading Khalil Mack.
Even more frustrating, Oakland has been competitive for the most part in both games before falling apart in the second half. Maybe when facing the Dolphins in Miami, the Raiders will figure out a way to play well on a consistent level for an entire game to avoid suffering a third loss.
