NFL Week 3, 2018: 5 Teams on upset alert
By Dan Parzych
1. Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia has been one of the biggest victims of the injury bug so far this season, which unfortunately they knew would most likely be the case since some of these injuries were taking place throughout the offseason. Not even the return of Wentz is guaranteed to fix some of the issues the Eagles are dealing with on offense, and while the fans in attendance are likely going to be more fired up than ever, the Colts will be ready to battle.
Similar to Wentz, Andrew Luck was another quarterback looking to prove himself in 2018 after missing all of last year with a shoulder injury. And after Luck was able to lead Indianapolis to an upset on the road last weekend in Washington to remove the pressure of earning that first win since his return, the Colts quarterback will be looking for an encore performance.
By only scoring 39 points over their first two games, the Eagles are far from the team that pulled off their incredible Super Bowl run back in the winter, but hopefully that will all change once certain players get healthy. For now, all Philadelphia can focus on is making sure they don’t end up on the wrong side of an upset for a second week in a row, or the pressure is only going to build up.
