5. Cleveland Browns: D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

It seems that the Baker Mayfield era has officially begun for the Cleveland Browns, and it was beautiful to watch for just over two quarters. However, the Browns now need to get him more weaponry outside of Jarvis Landry. D.K. Metcalf is a massive target with fantastic athleticism and speed to complement what Cleveland’s receiving corps already has. He could be a prototype No. 1 in the Browns offense and put up big numbers with Mayfield’s ability to fit balls into 50-50 windows.

6. Detroit Lions: Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama

Pick anywhere on the defense and the Detroit Lions would likely be happy. They have been absolutely abysmal on that side of the ball to start the 2018 season and are looking like one of the worst teams in the league. While some would like to see them potentially replace Ziggy Ansah, I’m looking at a game-changer inside with Raekwon Davis. He’s a No. 1 defensive tackle in most classes, but No. 2 here because Oliver is a monster.

7. Oakland Raiders: Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

It’s become abundantly clear that either Jon Gruden plans to tear down the Oakland Raiders before building them in his image — either that or he has no idea what he’s doing. Either way, Gruden starts his reimagining of the Raiders with the best cornerback in the 2019 NFL Draft, Greedy Williams. The LSU star check every box physically and on the tape to be a lockdown corner at the next level, one that can shore up a still shaky Oakland secondary.

8. New York Jets: Brian Burns, EDGE, Florida State

At some point, the New York Jets are going to have to find ways to dial up pressure without sending the blitz. Though Todd Bowles has never been one to value edge rushers all that highly, there comes a point where you have to do something, and that point is now. Brian Burns is lightning off of the edge with great agility and speed to get to the quarterback. With him adding a bit more weight from 2017 to 2018, he’s even more dangerous than before.
