Broncos vs. Ravens: Denver looks to keep rolling on the road
The Denver Broncos have started off the 2018 season with two-straight wins and look to keep that going as they take on the Baltimore Ravens on the road.
Last year was quietly pretty shocking for the Denver Broncos. Just two years removed from winning the Super Bowl, they were well out of the playoff picture last season. However, they looked to try and remedy that this offseason with additions on both side of the ball, most notably landing Case Keenum at quarterback. Now they take a 2-0 record into their Week 3 date with the Baltimore Ravens.
Keenum hasn’t been world-beater to start his Broncos tenure, but he offense has still been effective. That is partly due to Emmanuel Sanders having a big start to the 2018 campaign, but also with the emergence of rookie running backs Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman. With Von Miller and the defense showing out, they’ve been a solid group as a whole to this point.
It’s hard to know what to make of the Ravens at this point. They beat up on the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, but then went out and were pretty easily dispatched by the Cincinnati Bengals last week. Though they are coming off of 10 days rest, it’s hard to have too much faith in the likes of Joe Flacco at this point.

This line has dropped significantly throughout the week as the Falcons were once heavy favorites at home. Now that’s clearly not so much the case as the Saints are creeping this line closer and closer to a pick ’em.

Prediction
At the end of the day, I don’t think much of what the Ravens showed in Week 1 against the Bills. Buffalo seems like a historically bad team somehow playing their worst quarterback that week. As such, I think the Broncos are able to go on the road and cause enough problems for Baltimore to move to 3-0 on the season.
Final Score: Denver 27, Baltimore 21
