The Dallas Cowboys lost in an ugly game on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. The Week 3 defeat showed there’s a long way for them to go still.

Watching the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 was a hard thing to do. To put it bluntly, this team is simply broken. From missed assignments to lack of discipline, nothing went right for them in Seattle on Sunday. The biggest issue remains their passing game as they once again had a hard time getting things going in this regard.

There was hope they had found something the previous week, as they were able to put plenty of good plays together in order to get a win against the New York Giants. That victory made it seem like they had a chance to build some momentum, especially considering they were facing the Seattle Seahawks — who came into the game 0-2 on the season. Offensively, the Seahawks struggled and their defense also wasn’t up to par.

However, the Seahawks found that sometimes the best thing to fix what ails your team is to play the Cowboys. There was little resistance from the defense that looked strong the first two weeks of the season, and they got no help from the offense.

Seattle was able to convert on key plays offensively, and Dallas turned the ball over three times while managing just one touchdown late as they were in desperation mode trying to get back into the game.

In the end, they fell to 1-2 after a 24-13 loss. Here are the three biggest takeaways from the defeat.
