Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) at Atlanta Falcons (1-2)

Sunday, September 30, 1pm ET

If this game lives up to its potential, it could be one of the best of Week 4. There’s plenty of offensive firepower on both sides of the ball, with not a ton of defense. We should see fireworks going off for three straight hours.

Assuming that’s the case, who wins the shootout? In this instance, I have to go with the more experienced, talented and successful gunslinger in Matt Ryan. He’s a former NFL MVP with more dangerous weapons to work with, especially after the Week 3 breakout of rookie Calvin Ridley.

Don’t think that Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals offense won’t get going, though. They’ve shown well through three weeks, with A.J. Green, Gio Bernard and other playmakers answering the call. However, the loss of Joe Mixon hurts and Green may be hobbled, which could limit the Bengals’ ability to score on Sunday.

It should be close, but I’m giving the edge to the Atlanta Falcons in this one. With Ryan running the show and players like Vic Beasley hunting Dalton all game long, the Falcons should be able to get back in the win column in front of their home crowd.

Prediction: Falcons win 38-29
