Houston Texans (0-3) at Indianapolis Colts (1-2)

Sunday, September 30, 1pm ET

For the last three weeks, I’ve picked the Houston Texans to win. As you can tell by their current record, that hasn’t gone well for me. Although I’ll probably end up regretting this, I’m no longer going to put my faith in a team that seems intent on taking itself out of contention early.

I figured the return of Deshaun Watson would immediately bump this Texans team into the top couple of tiers in the AFC. Through three games, though, that hasn’t been the case. On top of that, the defense hasn’t lived up to its potential either, failing to make enough big plays to come away with the win on Sundays.

With that said, the Indianapolis Colts haven’t been much better this season. Andrew Luck being back under center has helped, and the defense has shown significant improvement. Still, they don’t seem to have enough all-around talent to warrant serious postseason consideration.

Still, I see the Colts walking away from this one with a 2-2 record. The Texans have severely underwhelmed so far in 2018, and I’m done waiting for them to decide to turn it around.

Prediction: Colts win 27-21
