2018 NFL Picks, score predictions for Week 4
Detroit Lions (1-2) at Dallas Cowboys (1-2)
Sunday, September 30, 1pm ET
I’m sorry, but I believe the Detroit Lions’ Week 3 win over the Patriots was a fluke. Matt Patricia clearly had New England’s number, which helped his squad come away with the surprise win on Sunday night. They won’t be as lucky against the Dallas Cowboys.
That, however, is not to say that the Cowboys are going to come in and steamroll the Lions. They’ve been equally unimpressive this season, with the offense sputtering under the leadership of the Jason Garrett and his ever-stale offensive gameplan.
While that may be the case, Dallas should get the best of the Lions. Their defense hasn’t been a complete mess this season, and Matthew Stafford seems to crumble under the slightest bit of pressure. The Cowboys will prepare to pass rush the bejesus out the overpaid veteran, forcing him into too many mistakes to bounce back from.
Dallas is desperately hoping to keep their season alive, and it’s only Week 4. A matchup with the Lions should prove fruitful, but it won’t help much in the confidence department.
Prediction: Cowboys win 21-16
