23. Indianapolis Colts (24)

Andrew Luck has not been what the Indianapolis Colts had hoped for. On Sunday, they had a shot to upset the defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. The defense played well in the first game of the season for Carson Wentz, who just returned from a torn ACL.

Late in the game, they had the lead 16-13 but gave up a touchdown in the fourth. The offense got it back and Luck had a shot to be the hero, but things didn’t go his way. Luck and the Colts saw that drive end without points and they then needed a miracle. After the defense got them the ball back, they were trying for that — but not with Luck.

It was a 50-plus yard Hail Mary pass, but the coaching staff didn’t trust the surgically repaired shoulder of Luck. Instead, he went to the sideline and Jacoby Brissett came in to throw the ball up for grabs. It wasn’t meant to be as the Colts lost and fell to 1-2 on the season.

They’re not in the toughest division, but Luck hasn’t looked like himself and the team’s concern about his arm strength can’t be too comforting for fans to see.
