22. Los Angeles Chargers (14)

The Los Angeles Chargers are a great offensive team and they also have some serious weapons on defense. Even so, they just seem to always lose to good teams. They especially lose in September.

They finished 9-7 in 2017, but that was after a horrendous 1-4 start to the season. This year, they hoped for a better start to the year. Doing so could keep them competitive in the tough AFC West, especially considering how strong they finished their season a year ago.

That hasn’t been the case though as their loss this weekend dropped them to 1-2 as they lost the battle of Los Angeles against the Rams. We could sit here and say there were all sorts of moral victories, like the two touchdowns from Mike Williams — who is turning into a real weapon for them.

However, no one really cares about moral victories. The Chargers need to put actual wins up and they’re already struggling in a market that doesn’t seem to be too excited to have them there.

Los Angeles is a busy town and people aren’t turning out to see them as they aren’t filling the smallest venue in the NFL. That won’t change with them still losing.
