2018 NFL Power Rankings: Packers, Patriots fall as Rams, Chiefs show dominance

20. Seattle Seahawks (21)
It wasn’t their best performance, but the Seattle Seahawks did enough to get the win at home in Week 3. They suffered two road losses to start the season and were ready for the friendly confines of their home stadium to try and get things figured out. They were able to do that with the 12th man cheering them on against the Dallas Cowboys.
Russell Wilson had just 192 yards passing, but he threw no picks and was able to hit Jaron Brown and Tyler Lockett for big touchdowns on the day. They also had a big game from Chris Carson who eclipsed the 100-yard mark and scored a touchdown.
What was most impressive though — and encouraging for them — was the return to strong defense. They did give up 127 yards to Ezekiel Elliott but forced a fumble from him that they recovered. Earl Thomas added two interceptions after an odd week that saw him quit practicing as he hopes to be traded still by most accounts.
For one week though, they shut out all the noise and put together a solid win. They still sit at 1-2 and have a ways to go, but the win on Sunday showed progress.
