14. Denver Broncos (13)

The Denver Broncos lost their first game of the season as they weren’t able to keep their hot start going against Baltimore. They also couldn’t make a comeback after falling behind, as they did in the first two weeks of the season. After scoring 14 in the first, they never again put up any points and the Ravens did enough to win 27-14.

So far, the signing of Case Keenum looks like it may not be as great as advertised. He’s had issues with protecting the football as he threw another pick and could have lost a fumble as well, but it was recovered by his own team.

The good news for them is they’re still in good standing at 2-1, but they’re looking up at the Kansas City Chiefs who are off to one of the hottest starts in the game. Denver has the defense to compete though, but they need the offense to get some consistency.

They do have some good talent with Damaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders as veteran receivers and Courtland Sutton there behind them. Their rookie running backs, Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay, are also solid players — even if Lindsay was ejected in this game. If they do put it all together, they could be dangerous, but that all starts with Keenum who looks nothing like the player he was in Minnesota last year.
