2018 NFL Power Rankings: Packers, Patriots fall as Rams, Chiefs show dominance

11. Green Bay Packers (6)
The Green Bay Packers have an ugly record of 1-1-1 following their loss to the Washington Redskins, but it could be much worse. They were on the ropes against the Chicago Bears in Week 1, but came back off an amazing effort from Aaron Rodgers.
He fought off a leg injury to put together an amazing comeback in the prime-time game and then was visibly hobbled in the next game against Minnesota. That ended up being their tie but could have been a loss. The Vikings had gotten into position for a game-winning field goal, only to see their rookie kicker Daniel Carlson miss it. It was one of many misses in that game, which kept the Packers from losing a close one.
Now, they struggled to get going on the road and dropped their first game of the season — which easily could have been their third if not for a couple bounces. This isn’t the season they were expecting after getting Rodgers back healthy following a lost season when he suffered a broken collarbone.
They’ve been fortunate that not only have they gotten some lucky breaks, but their division has also been pretty bad. They need to get their defense figured out though, because once again it’s become a weakness.
