By Dan Parzych
Here are 20 bold predictions for football fans to consider in NFL Week 4 of the 2018 season.
If the first three weeks of action are any indication of what football fans should expect in NFL Week 4 of the 2018 season, the month of September is going to end on a hot note when looking at all of the excitement that has already taken place.
Even look at the Cleveland Browns, who finally seem to have something positive to look forward to after the team finally earned their first win since the end of the 2016 season in Week 3 after Baker Mayfield stepped up on offense to take over at quarterback when Tyrod Taylor was hurt.
After going with the former Oklahoma star with the top overall pick back in April over other candidates like Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen, early indications point to the Browns making the correction decision with Mayfield. For years, Cleveland has desperately been trying to find a quarterback to build the franchise around, and even though Mayfield still has a long way to go when it comes to proving himself, it’s great to see some sort of excitement at the position for a change.
From DeShone Kizer to Brandon Weeden, the Browns have learned the hard way on numerous occasions the struggles of finding a reliable quarterback to use under center, and if all goes well moving forward, Mayfield has an amazing opportunity to be the one they’ve been waiting for.
Before jumping that far ahead, of course, Mayfield and the rest of his Cleveland teammates have their eyes set on a tough road battle against the Oakland Raiders. As for what to expect from Mayfield in his first career NFL start, well let’s take a look at some other key bold predictions before discussing more about the new Browns quarterback.
