The Los Angeles Rams are one of the few undefeated teams, but with a horrid loss to the Minnesota Vikings in 2017, Week 3 will be a big showdown.

Heading into the 2018 season, the Los Angeles Rams and the Minnesota Vikings were are the forefront of the NFC. Between the two, the Rams are the ones on top, but the Vikings appeared close behind. Regardless, both teams have a lot of potential and a long road ahead to the Super Bowl. Before we get there, they’ll clash on Thursday Night Football in Week 4.

For the Rams, their first three games have been a dream. They’ve defeated their opponents with ease. The Raiders, Cardinals and Chargers were quick work for the Rams offensively and defensively. Offensively, the team is clicking with both the run and passing game.

However, the defense might lose star players, cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib, for a few weeks. It’s a huge blow to the Rams defense, but one they should be able to overcome.

As for the Vikings, their first three weeks have been rocky. They handled business against the 49ers before tying with the Packers. Week 3 was completely ridiculous as the Bills trampled the Vikings. It was unexpected and frankly embarrassing for the team so they have to bounce back. The defense needs to get on the same page while Kirk Cousin needs to work on leading the offense.

Here’s everything you need to know about the NFC showdown on Thursday.

Both teams have the potential to pull off a win, but the Rams are the stronger team overall. Even without Talib and Peters, the Rams still have a stellar offense to fall back on. With the Vikings coming into town, the Rams definitely have a slight edge heading into the game.

Prediction

With the Vikings recent loss to the Bills, the hype has died down. As for Los Angeles, the hype around them is only getting stronger. Despite losing two impact players, they’re the stronger team of the two. Even if their defense is a little bit off, the Rams offense will take care of business. Along with a home-field advantage, the Rams will likely be 4-0.

Final Score: Minnesota 17, Los Angeles 38
