It’s never easy figuring out who to insert into your NFL FanDuel lineups. Week 4 of the 2018 season presents yet another opportunity for you to wallow in fear while trying to figure out who belongs in the flex spot or which defense isn’t going to get trounced on Sunday.

In an attempt to help you get your ducks in a row, I’ve put together this optimized FanDuel lineup for Week 4 that should, at the very least, help you make a couple of those difficult decisions. Maybe it won’t completely fit your fancy, but I can’t make everyone happy. You just have to take it for what it is.

Keep in mind, though, that there’s one thing I hold above all else when putting these lineups together. Matchups reign supreme in daily fantasy football. It’s easy to want to grab the best players and biggest names on a weekly basis. However, if a top-flight receiver is playing against the best defense in the NFL, it’s generally advisable to avoid that matchup.

As you’ll soon see, most of my picks are based on matchups. Hell, by the time you’re done reading this, you’ll probably be tired of reading the word “matchup.”
