2. Todd Gurley fails to find the end zone

So far this season, Todd Gurley has been an unstoppable force for the Rams. On top of being fourth on the rushing-yard leaderboard right now, he has five touchdowns in 2018. Every game this season, he’s struck paydirt at least once.

That’s about to change in Week 4.

While the Vikings haven’t been the best run defense in the NFL this season, they’re certainly capable of shutting down even the top running backs. Just look at last year’s showdown between Los Angeles and Minnesota. The Vikings defense allowed Gurley a measly 57 total yards and zero touchdowns. It is possible to slow down the Rams’ trusty steed.

That’s why, tonight, the Viking will get the job done. With the help of their much vaunted defensive line (even without Everson Griffen) and outstanding duo at linebacker, Minnesota will bottle up Gurley. Although I won’t venture a guess at how many yards they give up, I will say that Gurley never gets in the end zone.

That’ll force Jared Goff to beat one of the best secondaries in the NFL. Seeing as he hasn’t exactly faced the stiffest of competition this season, it seems like the Vikings will have the upper hand when game time rolls around.
