1. Vikings actually win

That leads me into this prediction. It seems odd to imagine it being a bold prediction. However, based off of last week’s effort against the Bills, it’s no surprise the Vikings are now seen as major underdogs against one of the NFL’s hottest teams.

So when Minnesota strolls into Los Angeles and gives the Rams their first loss of the season, plenty of folks are going to be surprised. That, however, won’t come as a surprise for you, seeing as you read this and were aware of the possibility of an upset.

I digress, though.

Between the outstanding performance by Cousins against a hobbled Rams secondary and the Minnesota D’s stifling of Gurley, it’s going to make things very tough for Los Angeles to keep up on the scoreboard. Goff will do everything in his power to stay within striking distance, but will it be enough?

As you can tell by the prediction, my answer is a resounding “no.” The game comes down to the wire, but a last-minute interception by the Vikings secondary seals the deal. In the span of a few hours, Minnesota is again seen as a contender while the Rams come back down to Earth.
