5. Kansas City Chiefs

Normally, a team like the Kansas City Chiefs wouldn’t be on a list like this since they happen to be playing a Denver Broncos team sitting at 2-1 heading into Week 4. But for this one time, it only seems fair to allow it to happen since the Chiefs are playing on a completely different level from the rest of the NFL, mainly due to the emergence of Patrick Mahomes II under center.

During the offseason, Kansas City made quite the bold decision to move on from Alex Smith in order to get the Mahomes era underway earlier than expected. And even though the Chiefs took some heat since Smith still seemed to have plenty of great football left in him, keep in mind this never would have been done if the team didn’t feel confident enough in Mahomes being ready.

With that being said, it only took Mahomes three games to convince football fans that Kansas City made the right decision when seeing how he already has 13 touchdown passes with zero interceptions. However, division rivals tend to bring the best out of each other, and there’s nothing the Broncos’ defense would love more than to hand the Chiefs their first loss of 2018.
