2. New Orleans Saints

Thrilling doesn’t even begin to describe how the New Orleans Saints looked last weekend in their overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons since the results could have easily gone the other way for the defending NFC South champions. Despite their 2-1 record at the moment, everyone knows the Saints could easily have been sitting at 0-3 if they didn’t catch a few breaks over the previous two weeks, and they better be ready for the New York Giants come Sunday.

Otherwise, New Orleans could be looking at a potential 2-2 record heading into October since the Giants seem like the perfect candidate to serve Drew Brees and company another upset, just like Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As good as the Saints are on paper, the Giants deserve some credit as well since the offense is loaded with plenty of talent for Eli Manning to work with.

The veteran quarterback was already fortunate enough to have one of the league’s most explosive receivers in Odell Beckham Jr., but Saquon Barkley is turning out to be quite the addition as well. When seeing how the Saints’ defense has struggled for the most part this season, the Giants could be in for a big scoring day.
