2019 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys turn the page, Raiders find pass rushers

9. Cleveland Browns: N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State
They didn’t want to do it, and you heard the pain in the voice of head coach Hue Jackson when he said the fans would riot if he didn’t make the move. So they made it. That move they so desperately tried to avoid was starting rookie Baker Mayfield, but it was so strange that they didn’t want to.
Jackson cited past rookies not working in Cleveland, but this was the No. 1 overall pick. This wasn’t a late third round pick like Cody Kessler. It wasn’t a two-year collegiate starter like DeShone Kizer or a party boy who also only started two seasons in Johnny Manziel.
For some reason, they couldn’t look past their fear of the past until Mayfield was forced onto the field and then they realized something. He could play.
Now heading into 2019, they could be looking to get him more weapons in the passing game. Assuming that Desmond Harrison improves at left tackle, they go for that weapon in ASU’s N’keal Harry,
He would offer a big-bodied target opposite Jarvis Landry with Antonio Callaway serving as the speedy deep threat. With that trio and tight end David Njoku, the offense in Cleveland could start to look scary.
