10. Indianapolis Colts: Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama

There are issues to correct for the Indianapolis Colts, but not all of them can be done in the draft. They have Andrew Luck back under center, but he’s not himself still. He’s working hard to get back into rhythm, but the concerning thing is his lack of arm strength.

While taking him out for a late Hail Mary may not seem like a big deal, maybe it is. Luck hadn’t thrown a ball for roughly a year and a half before he got back into things this summer and he’s still not close to where he was.

It’s not something that will ruin them, but they sure can’t build the team as they did in the past — which was to shoot from the hip and hope Luck fixed everything. Now, they have to actually build a team around him.

With that in mind, the Colts get a stud for their defensive line in Raekwon Davis out of Alabama. He’s the No. 2 defensive tackle in an incredibly stacked class. His addition makes the entire line better and that’s something this Colts defense desperately needs.

Luck may never have the same deep ball he used to, but he can do enough on offense to win games. As long as there’s help on both sides of the ball, and the defensive side gets much better here.
