2019 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys turn the page, Raiders find pass rushers

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Dalton Risner, OL, Kansas State
With a full offseason under Bill Lazor’s offense, the Cincinnati Bengals don’t look as hapless as they did for much of the 2017 NFL season. In fact, they look like early season players in the AFC North — which suddenly looks like a good division with the Ohio teams finally looking like they’re competent.
The biggest change comes from Andy Dalton, who has looked strong outside of four interceptions in their game against the Panthers on the road. Of course, there’s still room to grow and improve as a unit.
One way they can do that is to get themselves a better offensive line. To try and improve in that area, they go for Dalton Risner out of Kansas State. What makes him ideal for the Bengals is that he can play guard or tackle. And they need help at both spots.
There’s really not a player on the front lines for the Bengals who stands out as a great player. Adding some positive weapons there helps the entire offense. Not only will Dalton get more time to throw, but the running game will be much improved with better blocking up front from the big nasties.
