26. Philadelphia Eagles: Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss

Up next is the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles. They’re feeling good now with the return of Carson Wentz under center who just recovered from a torn ACL suffered last season. They won a Super Bowl with him sidelined, which speaks to their depth, but the offense is so much better with him there than without him.

Now to try and keep him there longer, the Eagles select Ole Miss offensive tackle Greg Little, who just does slide into the opening round. The idea for the Eagles is to replace the aging Jason Peters and get some better players on a line that can use help on the edges.

Some aren’t sold on Greg Little as a first-round pick, and that makes sense. Others think he’s the best offensive lineman in the class and at times, it seems like that could also be the case. Little is simply hard to figure out and has got a lot of work to do to clean up his technique.

Having said that, he’s a monster and the Eagles feel as though they can get the best out of the big man here late in the first round. If they do, they could end up with a long-term starter on their line. If not, expect to hear a lot of people saying they told you so.
