5. Buffalo Bills: D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

While many were all about bashing Wyoming’s Josh Allen, he’s actually done pretty well in his first couple appearances for the Buffalo Bills. While his accuracy was a question, he didn’t really have a high level of talent to throw the ball to while with the Cowboys.

What he did have was an incredibly strong arm as well as underrated mobility. The Bills saw the upside in him and decided to take a chance on the kid who can flick his wrist and send the ball 70-yards downfield.

Most impressive so far has been the win he just led Buffalo to on the road over the Minnesota Vikings. As long as he keeps improving, the Bills could be well off at quarterback. But Allen will need another target.

That’s where D.K. Metcalf out of Ole Miss comes in. One of two stud wideouts at Ole Miss, Metcalf has the bigger frame as he’s listed at 6-4 and 225 pounds. That kind of size gives Allen a huge target to go to, but unlike Kelvin Benjamin who is in Buffalo now, Metcalf also possesses good speed and more athleticism.

Putting the two on the same field gives Allen a much more impressive group of pass catchers than he has now.
